Kylie Bertucci crazy crafters highlight

Hi everyone, so glad you could join me again. I am joining in in the Crazy Crafters Highlight again tonight and hope you love the project too.

Reverse bokeh.... Well at least that's what I call it now hahahaha.  I was showing some of my fellow stamping friends my awesome Bokeh technique cards I was doing for the first time and I was told um love bokeh is using white.... I thought I was clever making up the name lol.

This card has been made entirely of Whisper White cardstock. The panel on the front was stamped using the large stamp from the First Sight Stamp set with Versamark and white heat embossed.  I then punched circles out of some scrap paper and got out my Bermuda Bay Lost Lagoon Soft Sky and Tempting Turquoise Ink pads and sponge daubers and had a party, so love the effect!  For the sentiment I got out my Hello stamp, from the Hello stamp set and my Stampin' Write markers in the same colours and went pen to stamp to add colours going from lightest to darkest. I gave it a quick spritz of water and stamped direct onto the card.  I added a little Wink of Stella to the sentiment.
Super Quick, Super Simple and Super Clean. But very beautiful at the same time and even better this could be used for anyone because the colours are perfect

Hope you like it and until next time stay well and happy crafting xx

Kylie Bertucci's International blog hop

I was invited to join this blog hop by our famous leader ('our' being the crazy crafters) Kylie Bertucci.  I am so excited to be taking part in this hop, because I was chatting with Kylie on the phone and she told me about it it I figured I HAD to join in, not one I wanted to miss at all.  So here I am doing this blog post.

The card I made is super simple and that makes it lovely to me.  The layout I have used is actually one from the #GPD026 which I have already entered but enjoyed doing so much I thought I would incorporate it into this card too.

So without further ado here it is.....

I stamped the flower from the Rose Wonder stamp set on Whisper White Cardstock in black Memento ink and coloured it in with Blackberry Bliss ink using my blender pens.  I fussycut the edges, yes there are framelits but I find fussycutting theraputic (I even have the framelits lol).  I added a little Wink of STella to each petal and ran my Basic Black Marker around the edge of the flower.

I got my Very Vanilla Card base, cut another piece of VV and cut it a little smaller in width to fit the card, I sponged the edges with BB and glued it down with snail adhesive. Timeless Textures was the next stamp set I used.  I took the little grid stamp and inked it with Crumb Cake and stamped it twice. Then I got the wrought iron looking thingy (technical terminology there) and inked it up with Versamark, I then heat embossed some silver powder.  Then I lay the flower on top using dimenionals to stick it down.  Last up I used the sentiment from Wetlands stamp set in BB ink to match cut it into a little banner and stuck it down with dimentionals too.

Hope you love it as much as I do.

Until next time stay well and happy crafting xx

#GDP026

Hi folks it's been a little while and I've been itching to get back into the craft area.  Today I sat down and wrote some goals and I saw the sketch that is pictured below and thought I have to play along with that one.

So come on in and take a look
 http://www.global-design-project.com/
This sketch was made by Teneale Williams who of course is also a member of the Artisian design team.  Super talented lady, oh my gosh!

This is my take on the design....  Have you ever had a colour you so desperately don't want to retire?  Yeah I guess everyone does lol, this is one of my fave colours of all time Blackberry Bliss.  I've layered up Sahara Sand and Whisper White with Blackberry Bliss Cardstock.  The smallest (top piece of Sahara Sand I stamped the swirly image out of First Sight in Versamark.  I heat embossed with Silver Embossing Powder.  The little heart (also from First Sight) I stamped with white StayzOn allowed it to dry then got out my markers and coloured in the pattern , I was underwhelmed but decided to add a little Wink of Stella (everything gets better with sparklies right...) and got so excited!!!!

The wink of wonder picked up the colour and spread it around much better, yes I was super super excited. I  then stamped the sentiment out of First Sight on a bit of scrap Whisper White in Backberry Bliss.  I put a bit of Sahara Sand behind it and lay the edges on the Blackberry Bliss ink pad to show up the edge. A few Dimenstionals here and some snail adhesive there and Voila!

I hope you like it, be sure to leave me a comment, lol makes me feel special hahahahaha.

Well until next time stay well and happy crafting xx Tamie
